As a small business owner, it is highly recommended that you display Terms & Conditions that are specific to your business, which helps limit your liability if a customer decides to complain about your product or service. Little Big Shop allows you to create the following policies:
- Terms of service
- Privacy policy
- Refund policy
To add one or more of these policies to your shop:
- Click on the ‘Settings’ menu item
- Select the link ‘Legal pages’
To add information into a panel:
- Click on the page/policy you want to populate
- Enter the policy information in the text box provided
- Alternatively, you can click the ‘Load Terms & Conditions/Privacy policy/Refund policy template’ button in the top right, which will give you a guide on what to include in your policy. In this example, some of the Privacy Policy template is shown.
- Click into the text box to edit or delete the text, and add your own
- Click the ‘Save’ button at the top right hand of the page
- Once they are created and saved, a link to each policy will appear in the footer of your shop.
- On clicking these links, a modal window will appear with the relevant policy information.
