Membership capabilities are exclusively accessible to Little Big Shop customers who have subscribed to the Big plan. If a customer of your shop possesses an active membership number assigned to them, they will gain access to special member-only privileges upon logging in.

Create and assign membership numbers

Shops subscribed to the ‘Big‘ plan can assign membership numbers to customers. These customers can then use their membership numbers to log in and view the exclusive privileges available to them. The privileges may include special discounts, access to exclusive products and more.

Provide member only pricing

A logged in customer will be able to view and take advantage of member only pricing. This pricing may include discounts on select items, exclusive access to products and more.

Restrict certain payment types to members only

You can also restrict certain payment types to members only. This allows you to provide a more secure checkout experience for your members and encourage loyalty.

Setup a loyalty program

Additionally, you can set up a loyalty program with different tiers of membership, allowing members to access further discounts and exclusive offers as they progress in the program.


How do you activate memberships in Little Big Shop and what options do I have once activated?

To activate Membership, click on the toggle on the right hand side of the Membership section. Once the toggle turns orange, the feature is active.

You will then see Membership options throughout Little Big Shop admin:

  • Products: When you add a product, you will have the option to add a special ‘Member discount price’ or offer the product as a ‘Member only product’
  • Accept payment: In Settings > Accept payment tab, you have the ability to offer certain payment options to members only
  • Customers: many of the Membership management is within the ‘Customers’ section of Little Big Shop admin
  • Search customers: ability to search customers via the membership number
  • Add/Edit customer: ability to add a membership number to a new or existing customer profile
  • Add membership: ability to create new membership numbers
  • Search membership: ability to search, edit and manage existing membership numbers and status
