Little Big Shop is an ecommerce platform built for Australian small to medium business. It’s a simple, easy and affordable way to get your business online with a website and shop. We are 100% Australian owned and operated.
When is Little Big Shop launching?
Little Big Shop is now open for business! For a limited time, you can get 20% off your monthly subscription for 6 months if you sign up using code ‘NEW20’ during registration.
Do I need to be an Australian resident to use Little Big Shop?
Little Big Shop is currently only available to Australians, with plans to expand to a global market in the future.
What languages does Little Big Shop support?
At this stage, Little Big Shop only supports the English language.
Can I trial Little Big Shop for free?
We offer all users a 14-day free trial. Once your trial ends, simply select a monthly plan and enter your payment information to continue using Little Big Shop.
Do I need to install Little Big Shop?
Our ecommerce platform is in the cloud – which means you can access Little Big Shop from any device and wherever you have an internet connection.
Getting started
What happens to my store when my trial ends?
Once your trial ends, simply select a monthly plan and enter your payment information to continue using Little Big Shop. Until you subscribe to one of our plans, your customers will not be able to access your store and you will only see the page with subscription options in your admin view .
Do I need to enter my credit card details for the free 14-day trial?
You don’t enter any payment information until your free trial ends. After your 14 day trial, select a monthly plan from our subscription page and enter your billing and payment details.
What payment options do you offer?
We currently accept VISA and Mastercard.
What plans does Little Big Shop offer?
We have three subscription plan options: Startup, Little and Big. To learn more about what each plan offers, see the Pricing page.
Do you have a promo code?
At the moment we are offering our foundation members 20% off their monthly subscription for the first six months. Enter the code NEW20 during the sign up process.
Can I create a website and a shop?
Yes, you can! As well as a shop, you can use our website builder feature to create a website all your own. We have provided customisable templates for a Home, Contact Us and Shipping page or you can create one all your own. Pre-coded ‘design blocks’ help you to add content quickly and easily.
Do I need design or tech skills such as coding, to use Little Big Shop?
No, you don’t! Little Big Shop is designed to make creating an online store as simple as possible. However, it is flexible enough that you can add your own custom code.
Payments and Security
What is a third-party payment gateway?
A third-party payment gateway is a service that authorises credit card payments and processes them securely, allowing you to accept online payments.
What payment options do you support?
Little Big Shop supports the following payment gateways:
- PayPal
- eWay
- Braintree
- PayID
- BPAY
- Bank transfer
Do payment gateways take a cut on sales?
Most do. You will have to do your research to find out how much.
What currencies do you support?
Little Big Shop supports payments in AUD.
Does Little Big Shop charge transaction fees?
Little Big Shop is one of the only ecommerce platforms that does not charge additional transaction fees on sales.
What accounting software do you support?
Little Big Shop is integrated with Xero and MYOB. This is available on the ‘Big’ plan.
Does my Little Big Shop come with an SSL certificate?
All plans have free SSL certificates as part of the base service.
Features
Can I link my social media accounts to my shop?
You can link your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts to your Little Big Shop.
Is there a limit to how many products I can sell?
There is no limit to the amount of products you can sell.
Do you have fulfillment options?
Yes, you can integrate your shop with one or many third-party warehouses.
Can I use my own domain name?
You can BYO domain name if you are subscribed to the ‘Big’ plan, and can do so from your shop’s admin dashboard under the ‘Settings’ menu.
What if I don’t have a custom domain name?
All shops get a domain name with their shop name and the .littlebig.shop URL address. Alternatively you can purchase one from a third-party provider.
